Accursed metropolis
Poisoned soil
Ghost town in a dead land
All hope gone, only darkness
The city grid overrun
by regrown vegetation
Noone lives here anymore
Nature reabsorbs the corroded steel
And mangled concrete is assimilated
Moss and swallowing vines
Erase the accursed metropolis

Sadness stalks the empty streets

To nothing but an arid hollowed landscape
The carcass of a vibrant city:
A stark reminder left behind
Starving vermin roam the streets
At night, shadows hunt in packs
leaving scavengers with sun parched skin
stalking openly in the daylight
